Sama Dudin has been in the education field for over a decade, working in both the private and public school systems as a grade teacher and a learning specialist. Her vast experience in the arts translates into a genuine passion for the subject, and her unique teaching style engages students toward a lifelong love of the arts.

Recognizing that the art world can often feel lonely, Sama has observed how creatives thrive when they collaborate, particularly in genres like hip-hop and R&B. She aims to bring this collaborative spirit into the visual arts realm for children, providing them with platforms to share their expressions and artworks while exploring their creativity further. Additionally, Sama has noticed that many of her creative friends struggle with promoting their work and finding dedicated time for their crafts. By mentoring and coaching younger generations, she believes they can grow as technical artists while also connecting with their inner creativity.

In line with this vision, Sama initiated A Sama Dudin Experience, a grassroots initiative focused on curating events, spaces, experiences, and workshops for children of all ages and the wider community. This effort seeks to revolutionize the dynamics and relationships essential to learning, cultivating an environment where creativity flourishes. Sama believes that feeling safe and connected lays the fertile ground necessary for impactful learning experiences. Sama focuses on intergenerational learning and play as they are the grounds for healthy relationships for all age spectrums.

Sama's qualifications include a Master's degree in Child Study and Education from the University of Toronto/OISE (The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education), and specalized in using the Arts and Mathematics to discuss Social Justice topics with children. As a mental health advocate, she understands the challenges a virtual curriculum can pose to students and families. She employs her skills in wellness and empathy-based learning to create customized educational plans for a diverse array of learners, setting them up for success.
